Release Update 2023-09-28

Release notes for the Channel Pilot Pro Release on Thursday the 28th of September.

Feature Improvements Market Price Analysis

Added data fields to standard exports

The data fields "Own_shop", "Own_rank" and "Own_price" have been added to the standard export. They are filled if an own shop is identified in the settings of the Market Price Analysis for the specific channel (more info below).

This change only applies to standard exports which have been created after this release. All existing exports remain unchanged.

Changed order of the data fields in standard exports

We adjusted the order of the data fields in standard exports to provide a better overview. The new order is as follows:

  1. sku

  2. ean

  3. title

  4. price

  5. Rank 1: Price (without delivery)

  6. Rank 1: Price_delivery

  7. Rank 1: delivery_description

  8. Rank 1: Shop

  9. Rank 1: Shop_rating

  10. Rank 1: Shop_rating_count

  11. Rank 2: Price (without delivery)

  12. Rank 2: Price_delivery

  13. Rank 2: delivery_description

  14. Rank 2: Shop

  15. Rank 2: Shop_rating

  16. Rank 2: Shop_rating_count

  17. ...

  18. Product_URL

  19. Updated

  20. Own_Shop (name)

  21. Own_Rank

  22. Own_Price

This change only applies to standard exports which have been created after this release. All existing exports remain unchanged.

Own shop identification separated from exclusion

In the settings of the Market Price Analysis, the own shop identification has been separated from the functionality to exclude them from an export.

Identifying the own shop now just triggers the filling of the "Own_..." data fields in the exports mentioned above. Identified own shops are not automatically excluded from exports anymore. See below how to exclude your own shop from exports.

All settings to exclude your own shop from exports remain unchanged if you defined your own shop before this release.

If you identify multiple own shops for the same channel, the “Own_…” data fields will always be filled with the data of the own shop with the highest ranking of them.

Example:

You identify the own shops Shop1, Shop2 and Shop3 which are all listed on the same channel and offer the same articles at different prices. Shop2 offers the best price of the three for an article:

Shop2’s data will fill “Own_shop”, Own_rank”, “Own_price” etc. in the export for the articles.

Own shop exclusion

The exclusion of the identified own shops from an export is now optional. We established a switch which excludes all matched own shops from exports once turned ON (default is OFF).

Shops with a lower ranking than the excluded will move up in the ranking presented in the export. The “Own_rank” data field stays untouched and will still show the correct rank of the identified own shop as it is on the channel.

Example:

The results of a request are shown in the export as follows:

  • Rank 1: Shop1

  • Rank 2: Shop2

  • Rank 3: Shop3

  • Rank 4: Shop4

  • Own_shop: n/a

  • Own_rank: n/a

Now you identify Shop2 as own shop and exclude it. The export changes to:

  • Rank 1: Shop1

  • Rank 2: Shop3

  • Rank 3: Shop4

  • Rank 4: n/a

  • Own_Shop: Shop2

  • Own_rank: 2
