Shop settings

Learn how to access and edit basic shop settings

You are here: Start -> Settings -> Set up Shop

There are 5 different settings.

Activate Shop

Use this button to determine whether your shop is active or not. If you deactivate your shop, all settings are retained. However, no imports or exports will be carried out.

Shop settings

  1. Shop name

Give your shop a unique name here.

  2. Technical e-mail address

Enter at least one e-mail address here that will receive error messages. You can also enter several e-mail addresses. Those must be separated by a semicolon (;).

  3. Shop web address

Enter the web address of your shop here.

Process control

  1. Feed exports

Specify whether exports to marketplaces and price search engines should be carried out at shop level. Please note that only the setting for exports is made here. It has no influence on imports, updates and recalculation of your data fields.

  2. API run for marketplaces

Specify whether API runs for marketplaces should be carried out at shop level. If the API run is deactivated, you prevent any updates to your articles on marketplaces. However, orders will still be processed.

Channel Pilot Pro API access

You need an API merchant ID and an API token to be able to use the Seller API. These are automatically generated by Channel Pilot Pro and cannot be changed.

You can find more information about the Seller API here.

Tracking details

Note that this is only visible, if you activate the tracking function.

  1. Tracking activation

Should tracking information be collected for your channels and articles?

  2. Your cookie duration in days

How many days should the information be stored?

  3. Tracking domain

Enter the subdomain or URL that has been set up for tracking.

  4. Tracking key

You can only read and copy the tracking key. This is the key for Java-Script tracking in your shop.

Security

This is where you set the security standard for all exports in your shop.

  • Off: The export can be accessed by anyone who has the link.

  • Header: The export can only be accessed with an https header extension.

  • Password: The export URL must be extended with the specified password.

If you select the security type Password, you must assign a default password here. This will be set automatically for all future exports.
