When you export products to Zalando, you can use the brand_code attribute to assign your items to a specific brand. Some brands are already available by default in the export and can be mapped directly.
Adding New Brands
If a brand you want to use is not included in the existing list, follow these steps:
Submit a request:
Contact Zalando to request approval for the desired brand.Approval by Zalando:
Zalando will review your request and decide whether to approve the brand.Availability in the tool:
Once approved, the brand will be added to the system and will become available for you in thebrand_codemapping.
Important Note
The approval of a new brand applies only to You / Your account that submitted the request.
Other customers will not automatically see this brand in their mapping list.
Summary
Default brands are available immediately.
New brands require approval from Zalando.
Once approved, You can map the brand in the tool.
Approval is account-specific.
