Monitoring

You are here: Feedengine -> Control -> Monitoring Function

You have the option to set up various monitoring services for your online shops. These services notify you when thresholds defined by you are reached. Also, the export to channels can be stopped automatically.

A click on "Monitoring Function" will take you to the overview. If you have already set up monitoring functions, an overview of them is displayed here. On the tiles, you can see the name of the function, as well as the set formula. You can also see directly whether the service is active or inactive.

Activated functions are highlighted in orange, inactive are highlighted in gray. The values are updated hourly.

Create a new Setting

  1. Click on the blue tile. A new layer will open.

  2. Enter the name of the setting.

    • The name must contain at least 5 characters and must not be duplicated.

  3. Click on "Create Monitoring Setting".

Configure monitoring service

  1. Click on the service you want to configure.

  2. Click on the black bar to open the configuration area.

The configuration area is divided into three different sections. You also have the possibility to activate / deactivate or delete the "Monitoring Service".

Formula

With a formula, you define which indicator is to be checked. For example, you can monitor your costs and get notified if certain values are exceeded or not reached.

In the formula area, you have 3 different setting options.

  1. Indicator: Which indicator is to be monitored.

  2. Operator: Select the criterion according to which the indicator is to be checked.

    • greater than: This operator is selected in most cases, because most of the index numbers increase over a longer period of time. These ratios are, for example, visitors, also sales and costs.

    • less than: You can select this for conversion, for example. For example, you can be notified when your conversion rate falls below 1%.

  3. Limit: Enter the threshold value.

Filter

In the filter area you can define, which data will be included in an alarm. The following settings are available:

  1. Shop Filter: Set for which of your online shops the alarm will apply. You can also select "All shops".

  2. Channel Filter: Set the sales channel for which the alarm will apply. You can also select "All channels".

  3. Time period: Set which time period will be considered. You can set either a starting date or a specific time period.

Actions

Set if you want to be notified via e-mail as soon as a monitoring service is triggered.

Furthermore, you can also set up the "AUTOMATIC EXPORT STOP". Means that when the monitoring service is triggered, export to the sales channel is stopped automatically.

You can undo the "Export stop" later in the "Manage channels" area.
