Product Filters

Narrow down your product catalog specifically

You are here: Start -> Settings -> Set up Filter

With a product filter you can control which of your products are exported on which channels.

Types of filters:

  1. Channel Filter

    • Set up a filter for each channel.

      • You can create this filter in the channel settings.

  2. Global Filter

    • Set up a filter for all channels.

      • You can create this filter in the import settings.

Set up new filter

  1. Click on "Settings" "Set up filter".

  2. Click on "Add filter".

  3. Choose the way you want to create your filter:

    • Template: Use a template to create a new filter.

    • If-Then Wizard: provides a simple interface for the most common use cases of a filter.

    • Create custom filter: Filter rules can be freely created to implement even very complex logic.

    • Copy Filter: Allows you to copy an existing filter to use it as the basis for a new one.

  4. Name your filter and click "Submit filter".

  5. You will then be taken to the editor you have chosen and can edit your filter rules. If you need help, the following instructions should help you:

NOTE: If you are using a template, you can only set the parameters. It is not possible to edit the formula within the template.

Edit Filter

You can edit your filters at any time.

  1. Click on the filter you want to edit.

  2. The editor opens. Here you can edit your filter.

  3. Click "Save settings" to apply the changes you made.

Delete Filter

You can delete a filter at any time.

  1. Click on the filter you want to delete.

  2. The editor opens. Here you can delete your filter.

    Caution: If you delete a filter, all assignments of the filter in the system are automatically deleted and more products could be displayed again.

Group Filters

You can group your filters to get a better overview.

  1. Click "Create new group"

  2. Name your group and choose the Shop for which this group filter will apply.

  3. Click "Create group"

  4. Via "drag&drop" you can now move the filters in and out of groups.

You can delete a group with a click on "Delete Group".

  • CAUTION: If a group is deleted, all filters within the group will be deleted as well. To save your filters we recommend to move your filters to another group before deleting a group.

Apply Filters

Once created, a filter can be used in different places at the same time:

  • In the import settings of your product catalog, you can use a filter to exclude products from the import.

  • In the channel configuration, you can use your filters for a single channel to limit the products displayed.
