Energy Efficiency Label

eBay has very strict requirements for "Energy Efficiency Label" to ensure a consistent and professional presentation across the platform. Only images that meet these guidelines can be used for product listings. PDF documents are not accepted.

So while listing you have to ensure:

  1. You’re providing a regular and working URL for "EnergyEfficiencyLabel.ImageURL"

  2. You’re providing the "EnergyEfficiencyLabel.ImageDescription" as text. Max length 280 characters.

  3. You’re providing the URL for "EnergyEfficiencyLabel.ProductInformationsheet". Please ensure that the URL in ProductInformationsheet is of an image/jpeg and NOT a PDF.

When an image is rejected by eBay, we update the offer/listing without images.

You can view the state of uploaded documents in the documents area. The document ID shows the converted eBay Picture Services (EPS) URLs.

For example, On a scale of A to G the rating is E.
As with all strings, you need to escape reserved characters such as ampersand. This field is required if an Energy Efficiency Label is provided.
Max length: 280.

Conditional - The URL to the Energy Efficiency Label image that is applicable to an item. This field is required if an Energy Efficiency Label is provided. The URL provided must be an eBay Picture Services (EPS) URL only. You can upload pictures to eBay Picture Services via the UploadSiteHostedPictures call.
