You are here: Start -> Settings -> Your data fields
With your own data field you can generate a new value using the values from parameters and operators and store it in the new data field. These can be used like imported data fields from your product catalog and complement them. This way you can generate the appropriate data for all your requirements and export it via data field mapping using a feed.
Example: You can use a formula to calculate the gross margin in a new data field, if it represents 10% of your net product price, and save it in a data field.
When using a template, you don't have to create a custom data field from scratch. We predefined some of the most common use cases to help you increase efficiency and save time.
Create a custom data field
Click on "Apply custom data field".
Choose the way you want to create your data field:

Templates: Allows you to create a new data field using an existing template.
Note: Templates can only be created and edited by Channel Pilot Pro.
Blueprints: Offer you the possibility to predefine formulas and use them multiple times in different shops.
Note: If you change a blueprint, this also changes every data field that uses the blueprint.
